It's that time of the year again, when stickers multiply exponentially, and conversations about "just one more kubectl apply" echo through the halls as thousands of developers embark on a journey to find their next infra solution. Yes, KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2025 is just three weeks away!
Also yes, ngrok is packing up the tunnels and shipping containers (quite literally) to head your way. Whether you're there for the talks and demos, the hallway chats with your favorite creators, or just the free coffee and swag, we've got something for everyone.
Here's where you can find us (and maybe snag a new keyboard or two):
Breaking down all the work our K8s team puts into the Operator into a few bullet points always downplays their effort, but let me do my best:
v0.18.0: We added support for TCPRoute and TLSRoute, along with a whole host of other Gateway API feature support to simplify the ingress side of your inevitable move away from Ingress resources.
v0.19.0: We leveled-up our Gateway API implementation with better status conditions and better integration with tools like ExternalDNS to create DNS CNAME records for you.
v0.20.0: We rebased the entire Operator on v2 of ngrok's Go SDK, which dramatically simplifies the work to maintain and cut new releases, and removed a bunch of CRDs that referenced features we no longer support. Bye bye, HTTPS/TLS/TCPEdge!
External Secrets Operator support! Go give Stacks a high-five for working with the ESO team to integrate Secrets for Traffic Policy with the way you already manage your secrets, be that HashCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, and beyond.
We're fueling the community one cup at a time. ngrok is sponsoring one of the official coffee bars at #330, in the Solutions Showcase again, so swing by, grab your caffeine fix, and then come chat with us at our Booth #1341 about the anxiety of updating DNS records, or testing new features in prod.
We won't judge, pinky promise.
Find us at the Solutions Showcase, Booth #1341, where we'll be running ngrok Kubernetes Operator demos every 45 minutes.
It's your chance to see how ngrok can make secure ingress to your Kubernetes workloads easier. Expect plenty of live tunneling and have a chat with the engineers building ngrok or explore solutions with our stellar customer engineering team!
We're raffling off Keychron Keyboards every single day at KubeCon!
Just pop by the booth, chat with the team, and collect your raffle ticket(s). Winners are announced at the end of each day and you can add the giveaway reminders to your calendar using this link!
If I were you, I'd want a free keyboard too. ⌨️
We've gone full nostalgia mode with this year's merch drop, developer-first (always have been 🌎👨🚀🔫👨🚀) designs inspired by the decade-old and legendary "it works on my machine" era, that you'd want to wear at every single conference, meetup or board meeting* you attend moving forward.
While you are at it, also get your hands on the new collectible shipping-label stickers that pay homage to the fragility of pods (and yes, they'll look great on your laptop or even your luggage). Grab new ones every time you visit ngrok at a new conference!
We love a good horror story. Rant about your toughest infrastructure challenges, be it your headaches with the setup and troubleshooting, cost bloat, or outages.
We'll show you how ngrok can help simplify your architecture diagram, reduce downtime, and maybe even help you sleep better at night. Book our calendar using this link!
There will be plenty of booths to grab a drink. CNCF gives you a few tickets. But where else but booth #1341 will you find donuts?
